I’m a freelance digital publishing specialist based in Oxford, UK. I have been working in educational publishing for over 15 years, for companies such as Oxford University Press, Macmillan Education and Richmond.
I have worked on websites, apps and VLEs for school children and adults. Some of the projects I’ve managed in-house include award-winning apps Sounds: The Pronunciation App and the Richmond Mazes. Other products include the primary VLE Richmond Spiral, the Richmond Online Practice Tests for Cambridge English: First and IELTS and digital components of Mind, Beyond, InCompany and Brainwave.
Some of my recent work in a freelance capacity:
- Managing the digital components of Primary and Exam courses, producing schedules and sourcing freelancers.
- Converting print materials to digital.
- Reviewing digital releases.
- Product development of an app for an Adult course, including gathering requirements, wireframing, sourcing developers and managing the project.
